Our holiday house in France with private pool will be available to you from 16.00 on your day of arrival until 10.00 on your day of departure.

A BBQ is available for you, to gather the clan outdoors for alfresco lunches and dinners.

We provide all bed linen, tea towels, bath towels and pool towels and upon arrival, you will find your beds made and towels ready. Our duvets are hypoallergenic.

As much as we can, we provide eco-friendly cleaning products for things like washing-up, detergents, the dishwasher and washing machine.

In France, there are two associated plug types, types C and E. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins and plug type E is the plug which has two round pins and a hole for the socket's male earthing pin. France operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.

The house is central heated through a sustainable heat exchange system. There is also a wood burner in the lounge of Grand Loup. Electric fans are in all bedrooms.

Pimm being Dutch and Marcel being German and both having lived in the UK, we speak Dutch, German and English. Pimm also speaks French and Marcel gets around very well and learns each day.

Private parking is available.

Our part of the Dordogne is perfect for walking, running, cycling or kayaking and takes you to beautiful spots in the region. But if you want, and if you want to maintain your exercise regime, we can arrange a personal trainer for fitness, muscle strengthening and aqua-gym or he can even teach your kids to swim. Burning off the extra French cuisine calories isn’t a bad idea either and your body will be very happy.

We regret that due to allergy considerations of future guests, pets (like dogs and cats) are not permitted.

Listening to piano music improves social connections, often has a calming impact that can help to relieve and reduces negative emotions, while increasing the positive ones, and piano music improves the mood. In the lounge of Grand Loup, we have a piano for you to play on and if you need sheet music, we have got some for you.

Our heated, eco-friendly saltwater pool has Roman in-built steps, which allows easy access and exit. The pool comes with sunbeds, parasols and an outdoor shower, all for your private use. In accordance with French law, our in-ground pool has an approved security device.

Cooking together, can be great fun, but why not give yourselves a treat and have a private chef that done for you, he or she does the clearing as well! We can easily arrange that for you.

Every month has its own charm, so we are open in all seasons. Discover the Dordogne all year round.

Smoking is not allowed in the house and in the rooms.

Our toiletries are by 'What Matters'. All products are certified organic, vegan, effective, pleasant and good for you, your family, and for the environment. All products are dermatologically tested and ......made in France!

The nearest train station is in Montmoreau-Saint-Cybard, 25 min by car from Lusignac. Another train station is in Mussidan, 35 min from us, with trains to and from Bordeaux. The main train stations (TGV) are in Bordeaux, Angoulême and Périgeux.

The ‘potager’, our raised vegetable garden, provides organic vegetables and herbs where you are free to pick your own and, if you have greener fingers than we have, you are more than welcome to assist us.

Our tap water is softened and there is a Brita filtered water jug in the kitchen.

....live on site in our own private accommodation, so we are always available in case you need any help. We'll do our utmost to be discreet but every morning, around 7am, we clean the pool and we work on our vegetable garden, this will take 30-45 min in total.

....also understand that your time or holidays are a well deserved time, maybe with family or friends. We want you to take time to relax in the garden, near the heated pool or near the wood burner ...... and we want you to enjoy the views, with a cup of tea, a lovely local wine or a 'French' Gin & Tonic.

Throughout the house and on the balcony, we have free Wi-Fi.
